Army and Navy C.S.L.

My first two examples of wooden jigsaw puzzles from the Army & Navy Co-Operative Society are both branded as Mosaic Puzzles. Whether this was the name used for all of them, or just as a range name for a certain style of cutting is not known.
Both exhibit a combined semi-interlocking and push-fit cutting style with some colour line-cutting.
