Near Glencoe

Beautifully coloured painting by the little-known artist R. Cooper, used to produce this excellent example of plywood push-fit jigsaw puzzle, retailed in Bentalls Department Store, but almost certainly produced by Raphael Tuck & Sons.
Interestingly there is a cutting flaw in this puzzle which is shown in close-up. This type of miss-cut is usually associated with stacking two or more puzzles together for cutting, then accidentally putting one or more pieces in the wrong box.
This painting also features on the Zig-Zag puzzle Sunset in Loch Lomond and also in this Chandos branded version of the same name.
Displayed by kind permission of Frances and Martin.
