11. Untitled-Waterfall

Untitled wooden jigsaw puzzle from Holtzapffel, the box details serving to identify its origins as being c1907-1910. In one of the company's earlier catalogues they promoted a selection of puzzles from Japanese Coloured Prints. No individual puzzle/print titles were shown, only the sizes available and their corresponding prices which were slightly higher than those of their standard puzzles. The cutting style is push-fit and includes some colour line-cutting. A box-lid number 11 is thought to be the company's way of identifying these otherwise untitled prints.
