400-piece interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle by Parker Brothers, part of their top-quality Pastime Picture Puzzle range.
The incredibly tight-fitting cut-style includes colour line-cutting throughout, along with a selection of twenty figural shaped pieces.
Thought to date from c1915-1920, the wonderful story-telling artwork features a painting by an unidentified artist, thought to be signed Bailley. The original box was missing, only the end panel and label having survived.
