Carnival

c1930's interlocking plywood Zag-Zaw picture puzzle from Raphael Tuck & Sons, featuring their interlocking cut style and a very fine selection of around sixty figural shapes.
This example, housed in a drawstring bag, may have origins within a jigsaw lending library, but its Zag-Zaw identity is clear to see, along with its entry on Page 14 of this Tuck's catalogue.
I have not been able to identify the artist as yet, but include a close-up of the signature and would be pleased to hear if anyone can help.
