Good Joke, A

Although the cutting of this puzzle is quite simple in nature, the combination of styles with extensive colour line-cutting, coupled with the large areas of dark browns in the print itself, made this into an incredibly challenging puzzle to assemble. Using an original c1891 Pears print of this superb and amusing study by Pietro Torrini, this thick plywood puzzle came in an unmarked box, so manufacturer is not known although it was probably done by a very accomplished amateur cutter.
