Estimated to be of c1920's-1930's manufacture, the box for this 369 piece, fully interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle is not original, so definitive origin is not verified. All signs point to this puzzle belonging to Victory's earliest range of Artistic puzzles, those usually found in hinge-lidded boxes.
The painting is by the British artist Ernest Walbourn (1872-1927).
