Chargement de foins, Le (Loading Hay)
This fine puzzle probably pre-dates the Rex, Royal and Apollo ranges, being simply branded as Vera Picture Puzzle. The address shown was Puzzle Vera's pre WWII location. The box also sports a Louis Vuitton label, presumably indicating that it was cut for retail in their highly exclusive fashion and travel stores.
The cutting style differs to the later puzzles in that, whilst still utilising the interlocking border, the remaining pieces are mostly push-fit, but with no attempt at colour line -cutting.
