Dejeuner de Grand Mere

The style of the box for this simple, fully interlocking plywood puzzle leads me to believe that this is probably a very early example from Puzzle Vera, and is most unlike any others I have seen.
Perhaps this was how the Company started out, before embarking on its course to turn out some of the finest and most challenging wooden puzzles in the World.
