Battle of the Bees, The

Another excellent puzzle from Vera Tassell and Helen Helmore, probably dating to the early 1930's, and featuring excellent colour line-cutting, as well as their initials cut into the puzzle.
Interestingly also incorporates a swastika shaped piece, although the puzzles likely date of origin makes its presence likely to be of a peaceful nature. This was, after all used as a symbol by the scouts up until the 1930's. This symbol also occurs in several other puzzles by VTH/Maids of Kent, including some with dual interlocking examples.
