Trafalgar Square

Fully interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle, estimated to be of c1930s manufacture and featuring a print published by the London firm of John Harrap & Son, 3 Holborn Buildings, London. The box label shows a title of Old and Modern London, with the side label listing this as "Trafalgar Square".

Unfortunately, we do not have an image of the completed puzzle but examination of the pieces suggests a possible connection to the well know British brand of AVN Jones, which regularly employed this style of strip-cutting.

The print style is also very similar to those featuring in the major British Victory brand's London View series, some of which carried the same "Old and Modern London" identity on the guide picture print.
