Oranges and Lemons

450-piece semi-interlocking plywood puzzle cut in October 2012 and featuring one of the Boyce Nursery Rhymes, Gay Way Series paintings, this being number 44. These were issued in the 1950s by McMillan as two sets of 24 prints, painted by the British illustrator Dorothy Muriel Wheeler (1891-1966).

Whilst the border fully interlocks the interior pieces, which feature widespread line-cutting on the colour borders, are cut in a combination of interlocking and non-interlocking pieces. As an added point of interest the upper left corner is cut square, whilst the remainder are rounded!

Also included with the puzzle was a copy of the full verse along with an information sheet confirming details of the puzzle and its dates of completion.
