Perry's Pastime Picture Puzzle

Important Dutch brand of wooden jigsaw puzzles, available from the publishing, bookbinding and stationery supplies firm of Blikman & Sartorius, Amsterdam. Puzzles have been identified which feature varying cutting styles, so it is believed that they were supplied to the company from several manufacturing sources.

The first two examples I have witnessed, both estimated to be of c1920s-1930s origin, carry a very stylish interlocking cut pattern, much reminiscent of the British "Expert" brand. Whether they were the actual suppliers, or had their designs mimicked by another cutter is currently unknown.
