Fairest Flower, The

376-piece plywood jigsaw puzzle, estimated to be of c1920s manufacture and featuring an intricate interlocking cutting pattern. The box label carries the name of the Dutch company Blikman & Sartorius of Amsterdam. The cutting pattern bears close similarity to that of the British "Expert" brand.

The artwork features a colourful but unsigned painting, possibly by the American artist Charles Mark Relyea. Although the label details are illegible, the print carries the title in the lower left corner.
