Progressive Parties - Sets of Six Puzzles

Sets of six 30-piece puzzles of various Cunard liners, mostly small versions of those on the full range. They all have the liner's name and tonnage on along the bottom. These sets were designed for puzzle parties and competitions, maybe onboard ships during voyages.
Tom Tyler has identified four unnumbered sets which don't correspond exactly with the examples illustrated and the choice of which puzzles were included may have been completely arbitrary. They were made in the period late 1920's - early 1930's (before the merger with White Star Line in 1934). Three examples are illustrated and referred to as Box 1, Box 2 and Box 3.

The puzzle sets were packed in Series 1 (lidded) boxes with postcard pictures of various liners on the lid stating "Pattern No 2163" and a description "Six Separate and different Jig-Saw Puzzles for Progressive Parties". The trays were originally divided into six compartments although these inners have mostly been lost.

We would be interested to hear about any other sets which may exist and would appreciate further information.
