Royal Route to the West

This fine painting by George Horace Davis (1881-1963), dated 1929 beneath his signature, is reproduced for this promotional puzzle by permission of the Illustrated London News. It depicts engine no. 6000, King George V hauling coaches at speed. This 200 piece example was produced from c1933, late being reduced to 150 piece versions. This artist's work also appears on the 400 piece Cunard R.M.S. Lancastria puzzle
