Sellicks-Plymouth

The cutting style clearly indicates manufacture to have been by Chad Valley, although they are not promoted as such, these very scarce little plywood jigsaw puzzles are made from black & white postcard pictures of British Navy vessels, and have a label on the lid which names the vessel concerned, the number of pieces, and a mention of The Book Stall of the relevant ship. In small print in the bottom corners are Sellicks, and Plymouth.
Mostly these scarce little puzzles appear in 36 piece variants, although 100 piece versions were also available for at least some of the vessels.
