Chad Valley

One of the Big Three British Manufacturers who, along with J. Salmon and Victory, produced the vast majority of wooden jigsaws available during the 1920's-1950's.
Special note must be made of the work of Tom Tyler, in researching and recording the vast range of puzzles produced by Chad Valley during their existence. In particular the Great Western Railways(GWR), The Cunard and The Dunlop series of puzzles, which he has catalogued so accurately in various publications.
It is testimony indeed to his research that only very occasionally do new examples turn up, needless to say when they do, great interest is displayed.
This album is one which I expect to grow extremely large, quite quickly, given the number of devotees to the collection of examples from its range.
