Combridge's

With outlets at New Street Birmingham and also in The Library of the Five Ways region of Birmingham, wooden jigsaw puzzles also formed part of this Stationer & Bookseller's product range. A catalogue of titles available in 1916 (see literature section) shows a considerable number available and the sizes quoted match closely with those of the Haymarket-based Zig-Zag Puzzle Company, who were quite clearly, their manufacturers. Certainly my first example of a Combridge's branded puzzle shows all of their characteristics.
