Home from the Cape with the S.E. Trade Winds

Cut to a scheme described on the box lid as being two-edged axe-head repeat. Subdivisions mostly triangular, this is a very fine example of fully interlocking plywood puzzle from an accomplished British cutter of unknown output.
I believe the painting to be by the American artist William F. Macy (1852-1901)
A postage label inside the box carried a date of February 1935, thought to be when the puzzle originated.
