Last of the Many

Designed and created in January 2014 in celebration of the seventieth birthday of a close friend, I chose this image of the similarly-aged Hawker Hurricane and decided to experiment with the concept of raising the subject and dates out of the background. Whilst this proved to be quite a logistical challenge, the effect was well worth the effort!
Rather than going back into the box until next time, my friend felt that his puzzle deserved a more permanent display, so I commissioned a frame maker to do the necessary work and the result is seen in the fourth image.
