Fortnum & Mason

This famous London store, established in the early 1700's, sold own branded jigsaw puzzles which were clearly made for them by some of the major manufacturers of the time.
The Prince Rupert puzzle featured here was almost certainly made by AVN Jones from their Delta Series. See Delta Catalogue for further details. Other examples include a 1200 piece puzzle matching the cutting style of a Victory Gold Box puzzle, another identified as Cotswood, but in a Fortnum & Mason box and more recently Post and Rails, which is clearly a Zag-Zaw cut puzzle made by Raphael Tuck.
