Duet, The

This solid mahogany, push-fit puzzle is of particular interest to me, as it seems to possibly establish links between several of the most notable British manufacturers of the early 20th Century.
I am quite sure that the later examples from this maker, such as The End of the Day were the predecessors to the Expert puzzles, but this earlier example shows far more of a resemblance to several other makers, take as an example the Puzzla jigsaw, Fishing.
Of course the similarities may be purely born out of the practice of copying the styles of fellow cutters, but I do feel that there may be more of a connection than that.
