When the Sun is Low

Beautifully cut plywood jigsaw puzzle from this uncommon brand, forerunner to the Expert puzzles cut by Robert Plumb. The reverse side of the pieces shows a wonderful grain effect on the plywood.
The c1923 puzzle Graphic Gallery puzzle End of the Day, shows very close similarities in artwork, cut style and box, so presumably dates from almost exactly the same period.
