Chrysanthemums

Very clearly cut by Raphael Tuck & Sons to their Zag-Zaw format, this 220 piece plywood puzzle features a painting by the Belgian artist Angelina Drumaux (1881-1959) and is dated 1908 or 1909 beneath her signature.
The cutting style is non-interlocking and includes 32 Whimsies, or figural shapes. The box-labelling with its Latest Craze wording probably puts this puzzle in the c1920 era, or possibly slightly earlier.
