Among the Gorse

Semi-interlocking wooden jigsaw puzzle with abundant use of colour line-cutting. The original box is absent but the solid wooden construction points towards c1910-1920 origins.

See the second "progress sequence" image to witness the extent of the line-cutting employed during its manufacture and subsequent assembly!

The painting is by the British artist Douglas Graham whose fine landscape paintings feature in several other Jigasaurus entries including another with this same image. To see these click here

Many thanks to Margot Stulemeijer for the details and images of this fine puzzle.
