Untitled-Hunting Scene

250-piece solid wooden jigsaw puzzle featuring a semi-interlocking cutting style and thought to be of c1910-1920 manufacture. Unfortunately, the original box is absent making accurate dating and identification not possible.

The painting is by the British artist Lionel Dalhousie Robertson Edwards (1878-1966). Whilst I have found past auction records for this painting under a title of "Drawing Cover", that is not a title I have seen in any of Holtzapffel's catalogues. They do however list several 250 piece hunting scene puzzles including one with a title of "At the Covert (Hunting)", which this may be an example of.
