St. Bavo

The Wigmore Street address on the box helps to identify this puzzle as from around 1931 when the Company was based there. The subtly-lit painting is by the artist Louis Burleigh Bruhl (1861-1942), and also features on this W.G. Evans branded example. The cut-style is of a semi-interlocking and push-fit nature with abundant colour line-cutting adding considerably to the challenge of assembly.
