Untitled-Causey Pike

My first example of a Jerome branded plywood jigsaw puzzle is this charming photographic portrayal of a group of four walkers atop Causey Pike in the Lake District. The personalised nature of these puzzles probably dictates that they will not carry the type of label normally associated with jigsaw puzzles, but this example carry a charming handwritten inscription on the box lid which serves to summarise the subject. It appears to read :Mary, Joyce, Raymond & K.S.A. on Causey Pike August 1936. Taken by Pat the day before Raymond and Joyce were engaged.
The cut style, as with all of the other examples which I have seen, seems to imply that they probably commissioned the Richards Art Company-RACO- to cut their puzzles for them after supplying them with the required print. The photograph carries the Jerome identity label in the lower right corner.
