Delta Jigsaw Puzzles

Less well-documented than the Delta Fine Cut range of puzzles, these plywood jig-saw puzzles were supplied in varying box styles, again with no mention of the manufacturer, and often giving no title.
It is very difficult to date this range, although I believe it followed on from the other range, probably during the mid-late 1930's, and probably concurrently with the A.V.N. Jones labelled puzzles.
The Fine Cut puzzles included scenes from around the World, many of which reappeared under such series titles as the South African Series, so it seems very likely that puzzles which did not fit into any of these series were re-branded in this new less specific Delta range.
