Standard Vanguard, The

Very uncommon, post WWII plywood jigsaw puzzle, which promotes the Standard Vanguard car. The car was first produced in 1947, remaining in production until 1963.
This puzzle, which shows no makers name, carries a silver foil end label stating the number of pieces. This is the same label used by Jones/Delta in their later, silver-boxed puzzles. In view of this and the cutting style employed, I am convinced that this puzzle was produced by them.
