Express Train, The

Very challenging push-fit plywood jigsaw puzzle, cut in 1958 by Dolly McDougall and featuring some very accurate colour line-cutting. In the case of this puzzle print, the painting is unsigned but it is understood to have been published by the New York printing firm Currier and Ives. New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art attributes the painting to a mid 19th century American artist J. Schutz.
