Gretna Green

Super puzzle by Dolly McDougall, cut in 1958 and featuring a colourful unsigned painting which features the famous blacksmith shop in this Scottish parish. The cutting style is exclusively push fit and colour line cutting abounds at every opportunity. It is housed in a cloth bag with elasticated tie and luggage-style details label.

This image is also known to have been used by Philmar, as number 6 in their "Britain's Heritage" series.
