L'Offrande du Berger

Dated 1910, this super puzzle features extensive colour line-cutting and a plethora of figural shape pieces. It is cut from a print of a painting, which I believe is by the French Rococo style artist Francois Boucher (1703-1770).
Angular in cutting technique, and featuring many, rather crudely cut figural pieces, this is probably another example of Pastime puzzle which was either made for the French market in America or possibly in Paris where, I have been advised by Anne Williams , Parker Brothers had an office in the era 1908-1911.
If my date recognition is correct, this puzzle is dated in the European standard, as opposed to the US convention, perhaps adding more credence to the idea of European manufacture.
