Colourful plywood jigsaw puzzle cut by Eric Pedley, for the British Jigsaw Puzzle Library. The puzzle includes various cutting techniques including accurate colour line-cutting and a combination of interlocking and non-interlocking pieces, all set within an interlocking border. The print is an unsigned depiction of Italian explorer Marco Polo (1254-1324), together with his father and uncle, preparing to depart from Venice in 1271, bound for Kublai Khan’s Xanadu.
