Penelope Puzzle

Swiss manufacturer which has produced a large number of jigsaw puzzles, predominantly wooden over a lengthy period of time and in a wide variety of sizes.
Almost all examples feature a similar, semi-interlocking cutting style with no figural shapes or colour line-cutting. They include photographic and artistic images and are supplied in good quality, foil covered boxes. Difficult to date, but thought to have begun production shortly pre WWII.
