King Arthur, The

Fine quality plywood puzzle from Photochrom, probably dating from the mid-1920's, shortly after the London and South Western Railway (LSWR), became part of Southern Railways (SR) in 1923.
Evidently the E prefix visible on the tender, referred to Eastleigh, where the class was registered for maintenance and this symbol was removed in 1929.
The sturdy blue paper-covered box features a small outline cut photograph as a guide picture.
