Tric Trac Players

Early example of solid wooden interlocking jigsaw puzzle from Photochrom Co. Ltd. of London and Tunbridge Wells, thought to be of c1920's origin. The painting is by the Flemish artist David Teniers the Younger (1610-1690) and the label promotes the puzzle as being from the Famous Master Series.
A further label on the box-base shows the original retailer to have been the bookseller and stationer, H. Seeley of 55-57 Hill Road, Clevedon in Somerset, which opened in 1900 and only closed in 2011.
