King Khavär

Exceptionally challenging plywood jigsaw puzzle, cut in a very intricate non-interlocking style, with colour line-cutting throughout. The artwork is a miniature from the Persian 1686 poem Khavarannama, by Muhammad Ibn Husam. It features King Khavär, disguised as a gardener, being attacked by Mir Shyyaf, on behalf of Ali, son-in-law of the prophet Muhammad.
The puzzle also includes an interesting pencil-written specification sheet, presumably drawn up by the cutter, to show size and piece count. There is also an entry of T=81 and what appears to be a form of Degree of Difficulty calculation, shown as D of D =10.8. Assuming that T is for time and 81 refers to minutes taken, then I would say the assembler must have been a a highly adept puzzler, as it took me absolutely ages!
