Regal Jigsaw Puzzle Company

The first two examples I have found from this limited production British company were both on good quality 5 ply wood and featured paintings by Vernon de Beauvoir Ward, a British artist whose work also appeared on puzzles by many other manufacturers, including those of Victory and Chad Valley. The Colonel's Story carried a Selfridge store price label of 27/- on the base.
Probably of c1950's vintage and possible connections with Ponda Puzzle Products of nearby St. Leonards-on-Sea.
