Challen Pianos

Wonderful piece of British promotional history, complete with original letter from Challen Pianos of Finsbury Park, giving details of the forthcoming arrival of a 150 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle to celebrate their 150th anniversary in 1954. The black & white photograph used for the puzzle features their 'famous dog Whiskers playing his favourite piano.'
The interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle was clearly cut by Victory and has a cut-down Popular Series green label on the base of the box to confirm this.
