Wilkinson, Lady Beatrix

The Children's Union, founded in 1889 was the fund-raising division of the Children's Society. Its rapid development was spurred on by the patronage of the Earl and Countess of Pembroke, whose daughter was Lady Beatrix Wilkinson.
She is believed to have been cutting jigsaw puzzles to aid the charity work in the 1920's-1930's. Examples of her puzzles are quite scarce and appear to be mostly non-interlocking.
