Rival Queens

Excellent study of two elegant women engaged in a chess match and aptly entitled Rival Queens. This is a solid mahogany puzzle with nine Whimsies, or figural shapes. The painting is unsigned. The 7/6 price tag for a 250 piece puzzle puts this puzzle in the c1920 era.
