Tower Bridge, London

34 piece cardboard jigsaw puzzle, estimated to be of c1930s manufacture and featuring an unsigned artistic depiction of Tower Bridge, sold "in aid of 2nd Castleford Parish Church Brownie Pack".

The interlocking puzzle is of thin cardboard construction and the pieces show where they have had to be separated from their adjoining pieces. The puzzle is housed in a brown envelope carrying the Raistrick & Co., Ltd brand identity, along with the promotional message. I suspect that the puzzles was originally distributed as a pressed sheet, still held together by those small connections.

The National Library of Australia holds another puzzle of very similar proportions and description, featuring Sydney Harbour Bridge, their example quoting as being "in aid of St. Sampson's Senior Girls' School Fund".
